Headshots by Conor Clancy

As a photojournalist, I've always striven to communicate emotion in the portraits I make. From the back roads of Oklahoma to the streets of New York City, no setting is too challenging to "forget" the unique personality of an individual.  I bring that modus operandi to my headshot sessions.

What sets me apart from other Philadelphia-based headshot photographers?  I don't operate a "headshot factory."  Forgive the cliché, but every human being has their own story to tell, and your headshot must reflect that... no excuses!  I am personally invested in each one of my clients; I truly believe collaboration is the only method to achieve perfect results.  Let's work together to illustrate the best version of you.

Our pre-session consultation is when we discuss your goals, your expectations, and most importantly, any reservations you have.  I know that standing in front of a stranger's camera can seem like daunting and nerve-wracking endeavor, and my goal is to make the session enjoyable.  What I don't have is a cold, austere studio set-up with a paper backdrop. To make the experience as stress-free and comfortable as possible, I invite you to select our shoot location when you schedule your headshot session.   Don't have a place in mind?  No worries, as we discuss your goals I can suggest a few places I feel would best suit you.

My past clients include actors, musicians, politicians, creative professionals, bartenders, small business owners, retail managers, corporate professionals, yoga instructors, and social media influencers; each individual receives the same amount of undivided attention and rock-star treatment.  Because that's what you are!

The Fine Print/FAQ

Where do you work?

I'm based in King Of Prussia, and I will typically travel as far north as Allentown, as far west as Lancaster, as far east as Mt. Laurel, NJ, and as far south as Wilmington, DE.  That said, I've worked with clients in Asbury Park, Baltimore, and New York City; I'm pretty flexible!

Do you use flash or natural light?

One or the other, or in some circumstances both.  I try to utilize natural light as much as possible, but there are some cases in which the addition of artificial light is a necessity.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of your package price is required at the time of booking.  So that would be $49 for "The Basic," $65 for "The Advanced," and $90 for "The Professional."  The remainder of the package price is due on the day of your shoot.

When should I expect my final photos by?

Proof turnaround time is 24 hours.  I re-touch very carefully, to ensure the final product actually looks like you, and not like it's been processed by one of those iPhone apps.  Once you've selected your final(s), my conservative estimates are: Basic and Advanced packages will receive their re-touched image(s) within 3 business days; Professional package turnaround time is within 5 business days.

What methods of payment do you accept?

I accept cash, check, and credit/debit card.

What is your cancellation/re-scheduling policy?

I totally understand that life happens.  If you need to re-schedule, I ask that you let me know at least 24 hours before your scheduled session time.  And if there are extenuating circumstances on the day of your shoot, don't freak out... it happens.  However, if you must re-schedule your shoot a second time, you will be require to pay a second deposit to re-book (forfeiting your initial deposit).

Cancellation of a headshot session (meaning you don't wish to re-schedule) up to 48 hours prior to your time slot, results in the forfeiture of your deposit.  Cancelling a session less than 48 hour prior to your scheduled session results in forfeiture of your deposit plus 50% of the price of your selected package.

But, what about bad weather?

Unfortunately, unlike in Los Angeles, the setting of the photo above which was taken early February, the east coast has some serious temperamental weather.  If we've planned our session outdoors and there's a risk of any type of inclement weather within a week of the shoot, I will contact you to schedule a rain date.  You will never be required to pay extra because Mother Nature is in a bad mood; even if we're forced to re-schedule 5 times.

Can I take a few photos with my daughter/co-founder/mentor, etc.?

With "The Professional" package, you can take photos with whomever and whatever you want.  Anything that you feel best illustrates your personal brand, bring it along!
